As the 2021 Senedd election approaches, the coach industry in Wales has today (29 March) set out its plan for an ambitious recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, including grants to help tours get underway as soon as next month and kick start the Welsh tourism economy.
We are delighted to launch the Coach Strategy, the industry’s first official strategy outlining vital role of coach in UK society and how, with Government support, the industry can thrive and play its full part in the economic and green recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Appearing alongside coach operators today, CPT’s Chief Executive Graham Vidler told the Transport Select Committee that the coach industry has had limited access to the support that has been available to other parts of the leisure and tourism industry.
